Challange

The core challenge was to integrate the company's vibrant brand colors and graphic patterns while maintaining brand integrity. My solution focused on strategic application and visual hierarchy to create an engaging experience without overwhelming the user

The constraint:

The project required adherence to the company's extensive brand guidelines, which included a bright color palette and a library of graphic background assets.

The risk:

Overusing these elements could lead to a cluttered and overwhelming visual experience for the customer, potentially diminishing the brand's professional integrity.

The goal:

Create a design that is visually engaging and on-brand, but also clean, intuitive, and focused on a positive customer experience.

Solution

By prioritizing immediate visual recognition over text, the design ensures users understand the website's purpose within seconds of landing. We achieved this through a "less is more" approach that simplifies content, leverages strategic color placement for user flow, and incorporates brand shapes as background elements. Intentional use of neutral space, subtle box shadows, and layering was implemented to create balance and depth without overwhelming the user. The result was a clean, clear, and scannable design across all sections.

Outcome

  • Increased homepage views by 12% (+106) by comparing the periods 6/10/25 - 8/15/25 and 8/15/25 - 11/3/25.
  • Drove a 9% increase in the Google Business Organic Visibility Score over the period of 6/9/25 to 11/3/25.
  • Improved user engagement by increasing average time spent on the homepage by 31 seconds and unique page views by 60.
